We need to be committed to responsible budgeting that ensures our

community’s needs are met without overburdening taxpayers. Fiscal

transparency and accountability are at the heart of my approach to

managing public funds. I believe in a budget that reflects our

As our city grows, so do the demands on our public safety

systems, which means investing in what works for us. Looking for collabrative approaches for all departments that can keep response time

efficient and capable. Public safety isn’t just about policing about

supporting mental health response, emergency preparedness, and

crime prevention.

We need smart housing solutions that balance growth and preserve the character of Mount Vernon, and update zoning laws to allow for diverse housing in more areas. To help increase opportunities for lower-income families, first-time homeowners, and multi-generational families. Focused solutions that do not compromise neighborhood quality or fiscal responsibility.
